Join us and be a part of the opportunity to enjoy good music and support Habitat for Humanity! St.Barnabas Episcopal Church in Montgomery is hosting an evening concert of classical and pop favorites on Sunday, July 10, 2016, to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati’s ongoing efforts to build homes for homebuyers who are striving to become first-time homeowners.
BAMSO conductor, Michael Chertock, is arranging the 7 p.m. concert and leads the lineup of performers. Other noted classical musicians who will play include violinist Stacey Woolley, of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and clarinetist Bruce Curlette. Singers include opera soloist Kara Shay Thomson and Nancy Valyo Nolan, known for her jazz performances in Cincinnati.
There will also be performances by BAMSO young artist competition winners. Violinists Spencer Sharp and Andrew Yang, trombonist Evelyn Proffit, and flutist Kathryn Erosky will perform solo works.
There is no admission for the concert. St. Barnabas requests donations, either by check or cash, to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati. The church is located at 10345 Montgomery Road in Montgomery.
