ABOUT  US

Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra

MISSION STATEMENT

We believe that music enriches the lives of people of all ages. Through our diverse music programming, accessible venues, and no cost concerts, we provide the citizens of Blue Ash, Montgomery, and surrounding communities with an enjoyable, affordable, quality music experience for audiences of all ages.

HISTORY

The orchestra gave its first performance on July 5, 1987, as the Blue Ash Symphony, under the direction of Paul Stanbery. It presented concerts on Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the first Sunday of December. The city of Montgomery became a co-sponsor in 2002 engaging the orchestra to perform additional shows on July 3rd and in early March.

BAMSO CONCERTS

Provide a time when people from all walks of life can sit together to enjoy creativity. Neighborhoods where children play in the streets, families rock on the porch, and citizens congregate in the town square are no longer common. BAMSO events are a conduit for just such activities in our community.
